Mace: Terminal 3 Airbridge Project
Amalga have been providing first class Logistics Solutions to the Mace Airbridges Project at Terminal 3, London Heathrow co-ordinating logistics, since early 2016, building aircraft anti-back blast barriers and ensuring that the site perimeter is set up to the airfield duty managers satisfaction. To date, we have supported the logistics of eight aircraft bridge stand removals and installations, moving from stand to stand with the programme.
The project logistics has been managed by Amalga’s Phil Vost, a highly capable and organised Logistics Project Manager who was recently awarded an individual award at the Mace Quarterly Communications Session, where the Senior Project Manager stated “Phil deserves the recognition – he has earned it, with consistent excellent Health and Safety performance over the last 14 months” and the Mace Construction Manager stating that “Phil’s attitude to the Airbridges Project has been First Class” before going on to say “Phil has continued to deliver on the project with his attention to detail and extensive knowledge of the airports surroundings, delivering what Heathrow Airport expects”.
Phil has been supported by a team of highly motivated and experienced Logistics Operatives, specifically Emil Nowak and Fazel Ghanavati who have been on the [project throughout, and special thanks goes to them from the Mace team “we would like to thank all of the Amalga Team for their input over the last year and a half”.
